About Lucia

Where did it all begin?

Since the day she could talk, Lucia could capture and hold an audience. Naturally comedic, Lucia soon discovered making people laugh certainly had it's rewards and as a little girl would spend hours writing poetry and monologues to perform to her friends and family. In her teenage years she would write songs and children's stories to share with the dozens of children she used to baby-sit for.

Writing plays, dressing up and inventing characters became a full time hobby growing up. Wouldn't it be wonderful, she thought one day, to have a career doing something you absolutely love, with people you absolutely love. So by combining these two elements she created something quite unique - 'Lucia the Entertainer' was born. 20 years later she's still doing it and still absolutely loving it!!

Lucia is a full time professional Children's Entertainer working all over the UK. She has over 20 years of entertaining and childcare experience. After leaving school at 16 and starting her own entertainments business at 17, she studied at Stockport college achieving a National Diploma in Nursery Nursing and Child development. Her qualifications led her to primary education where she worked in an Inner City School for almost 8 years, taking a year out in 1996 to Nanny in the United States of America.

On her return from the US, Lucia decided to become a full time Children's Entertainer working all over the UK. With the qualifications and vast experience of 'how kids tick', Lucia has devoted her career to entertaining children from all walks of life, in Schools, hospitals, and at home.

Working with children is a vocation for Lucia. Her dedication and commitment to meeting their needs has given her a wonderful reputation on the party entertainment circuit. Lucia has the BEST job EVER!
